Review wave theory. Notes on electromagnetic waves, EM spectrum, work on a worksheet about the EM spectrum. Rewatch the previewed Nova clip on cosmic microwave background radiation. Students are asked to write paragraphs explaining how scientists learn about the first light of the Big Bang by studying background radiation, and utilizing certain vocab terms (EM wave, EM spectrum, wavelength, Big Bang, etc.) |
